A celebration of identity, community, and confidence, created to inspire the next generation.
The Onyx Ball was thoughtfully created to provide a safe, welcoming, and empowering environment where teenagers of Black and mixed heritage can come together to socialise, build meaningful connections, and celebrate their shared and diverse identities.
Founded by Black Eton College mothers, the vision was simple yet powerful, to create a space where young people feel seen, valued, and supported during a formative stage of their lives.
More than just an event, the Ball was born out of a desire to nurture confidence, encourage belonging, and strengthen community.
At a time when identity and self-confidence are deeply important, The Onyx Ball provides a space where young people can feel a true sense of belonging.
It is a celebration of culture, heritage, and unity, encouraging positive interactions, building friendships, and fostering pride in who they are.
Through this experience, we aim to inspire confidence, connection, and a lasting sense of community.
With the presence and support of families and trusted adults, The Onyx Ball creates a nurturing environment that balances independence with guidance.
This unique approach ensures that teenagers can enjoy meaningful social experiences while parents feel reassured and connected.
The result is more than an event, it is a shared experience that strengthens bonds across generations.
The Onyx Ball is about building community, inspiring confidence, and creating lasting memories, laying the foundation for a strong, connected, and uplifted generation.
Join a growing community celebrating identity, culture, and connection.
